Rules and Regulations for Secondary level Students

General Discipline :

  • Students must maintain discipline and decorum within the school premises at all times.
  • Students are expected to show respect towards teachers, office staff, and fellow students.
  • Bullying, misbehavior, or use of inappropriate language will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
  • Damaging school property is strictly prohibited.

    Attendance & Punctuality :

  • Attendance is mandatory. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in examinations
  • Students must arrive at school on time. Late coming is not appreciated.
  • Leave of absence must be sent to the school email id svpschool@sonatech.ac.in Absence for more than 3 consecutive days requires prior approval.

    Uniform & Appearance :

  • Students must wear the prescribed uniform neatly and properly. Non-compliance will not be appreciated.
  • Hair should be clean and well-groomed. Extreme hairstyles or hair colors are not permitted.
  • Use of makeup, fancy jewelry, or accessories is not allowed.

    Academics :

  • Students must complete and submit assignments & homework on time.
  • Participation in all academic and co-curricular activities is encouraged and may impact in internal assessments

    Use of Electronic Gadgets :

  • Mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices are not allowed in school. Exceptions require prior approval.
  • Any unauthorized gadgets will be confiscated and returned only to parents .

    School Transport :

  • Students using school transport must adhere to the proper behavior.
  • The school will not be responsible for incidents caused by non-adherence to transport rules.

    Health & Safety :

  • Students must inform their class teacher if they feel unwell during school hours. So that parents will be kept informed .
  • Parents are advised to refrain from sending sick children to school to prevent the spread of illness.

    Parental Cooperation :

  • Parents must attend Parent-Teacher Meetings regularly to stay updated on their child's progress.
  • Communication with teachers should be respectful .
  • Ensure that students carry all necessary materials, including textbooks, notebooks, and stationery regularly to school . No fancy items are encouraged .

    Prohibited Conduct :

  • Stealing or possession of others' belongings is forbidden.

    Consequences of Non-Compliance :

  • Minor infractions will result in warnings or counseling sessions.
  • Repeated violations may lead to corrective measures as decided by the school management
